Threat Observation (Recognise Terrorist Threats)
This course is 1 of the 3 core security courses to get a security officer license.
Threat Observation (Recognise Terrorist Threats) is a core module under the Skills Framework in Security Operations. This course has been considered a core module in the Security Operations framework, whereby an individual must attain competency along with Basic Licensing Units, Guard and Patrol (Provide Guard and Patrol Services), and Incident Response (Handle Security Incidents and Services).
Upon completion of this course with an assessment, the individual will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA). This training programme will equip the individual with the knowledge and skills required to understand, observe and manage terrorist threats when assigned to work on premises that they are providing security protection.
In order to be a Security Officer, you will need to attend 3 basic modules as below.
1) Provide Guard and Patrol Services
2) Handle Security Incidents and Services
3) Threat Observations (RTT) ( 10 Oral Question, 3 Role-Play)
If u want to get WSQ Certificate in Security Operations, after completing the Security Officer modules, you have to attend 2 Senior Security Officer modules
