Guard and Patrol (Provide Guard and Patrol Services)

This course is 1 of the 3 core security courses to get a security officer license.

Guard and Patrol (Provide Guard and Patrol Services) is a core module under the Skills Framework for Security in Security Operations for Basic Licensing Unit. Upon completion of this course with an assessment, an individual will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by the Workforce Singapore.

This training programme will equip the individual with the knowledge and skills required to perform basic security duties in accordance with Singapore security industry’s specifications, and ensure the security of guarded facilities and eliminate prevailing security threats, and apply appropriate procedures for guard and patrol activities.

In order to be a Security Officer, you will need to attend 3 basic modules as below.

1) Provide Guard and Patrol Services
2) Handle Security Incidents and Services
3) Threat Observations (RTT) ( 10 Oral Question, 3 Role-Play) 

If u want to get WSQ Certificate in Security Operations, after completing the above Security Officer modules, you have to complete 2 Senior Security Officer modules
