What You'll Learn

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

• LO1. Apply principles of sound and distinguishment between sound qualities to scope the sound requirements for a mixing project
• LO2. Use sound editing software to prepare audio files for the mixing project by standardising their technical formats
• LO3. Complete the mixing of different sound elements from different sources using appropriate techniques to achieve the desired soundtrack
• LO4. Manipulate the volume of different sound elements in the mixed track to enhance the smoothness of transitions
• LO5. Modify the sonic characteristics of the mixed track to improve the quality of the mixing
